My Morning Cup – 5.2.13

My Morning Cup - 5.2.13

I hear people saying all the time that they feel guilty for wasting hours on simple pleasures. Why? Do we really need to be in constant motion moving toward some far-flung and possibly unobtainable goal? Are we all so afraid that we’ll be “caught” doing something for ourselves that doesn’t benefit others or the world at large? Are we not worthy?
The cold front moved in overnight and it’s in the low 50s this morning. Today I am thankful for time to sit snuggled under a warm quilt with a couple of new magazines to browse. Try it sometime. It’s guaranteed to remove stress wrinkles!!
